Discover Lošinj Island’s charm with our “Along the Paths of Saint Gaudentius” weekend package, blending outdoor adventures with rich history.
Day 1:Start with a nourishing breakfast and morning exercise, then embark on a 7 km trek through Osoršćica’s foothills, visiting historical villages like Nerezine, Halmac, and the legendary Tržić, where Saint Gaudentius, who expelled snakes from the islands, is said to have been born.
Day 2: For seasoned hikers, a challenging 15 km trek to Osoršćica’s summit awaits. Visit the Mountain Lodge of St. Gaudentius and the cave where the saint is believed to have lived. The journey peaks at St. Nicholas Peak, offering spectacular views across the archipelago. Optional lunch at the lodge is available.
