Processing wool and crafting garments have been longstanding traditions on Cres, using this valuable resource. Our felting workshop for adults dives into felting, where participants transform wool fibers into solid structures using soap and water. They will knead and roll the wool, creating durable felt. Under expert guidance, they also learn to arrange colored wool into patterns, crafting unique handcrafted artworks. This workshop offers a chance to explore Cres’s rich wool processing tradition and unleash creativity.
Additional information
The workshops take place in the courtyard of Ruta, under umbrellas, with refreshing water provided. Further refinement of the woolen picture is not included in the price, but interested participants can have a bag or pillow sewn by the instructor for an additional fee.
